These rings were exactly as described, but the description didn't mention that they were soft, which I suppose should be expected in pure sterling. As jump rings they work quite well, but if a charm gets caught on something, these rings are going to pull right off. In the end I wound up almost knotting the ring ends like a wire, and that left pointy things which were even easier to get caught on. I'm no jeweler though, and I imagine that if you know what you're doing they are just what the doctor ordered. They appear to be nickel-free; my fiancee has a nickel allergy but these didn't discolor or cause her to break out, which is a plus, obviously.

In short, just know what you're getting, and if that's what you want, these are great.

I used these with the "Sterling Silver Italian Double Link Charm Bracelet" -listed on Amazon. These rings did the job, but the metal is soft and it is very easy to bend them out of shape. So if you are going with these I would buy lots of extras and make sure you are extra patient the day you use them.

I bought these for my granddaughter's new charm bracelet AND a tool specifically designed to open them and attach directly to the bracelet. They have "no memory" once you open them so that they STAY open a little. One of her charms fell off! Luckily, we found it right away. They are simply made too thin and too soft.

Very flimsy. Bought to hang the charms on a bracelet and they keep bending and falling off, get caught on everyting. Will need something similar that is not silver or that is much thicker to keep the charms on a bracelet.
