Maybe it's me?!?

So many products that were just fine are "improved". These improvements all seem to change them, in a way that's usually not good. This tape is a perfect example. The old version of Scotch Shipping Tape worked great, and was easy to use. It came off the roller dispenser easily, didn't tear, and held wonderfully on the packages. No problem!

I can't seem to find that tape anywhere now! So I purchased Scotch "Heavy Duty" Shipping Packaging Tape, which looks the same, but with a different label. And great news! It comes with 20% more for the same price. Wow, great value.... NOT!

The glue on this tape may in fact be stronger, because it's almost impossible to roll it with the dispenser. It just sticks to it and to itself. Then when I try to remove it from the dispenser, it tears lengthwise or gets all tangled up. I have probably wasted 20% of what I have needed so far.

Once it's on the package it does seem fine, but it's such a headache to get it there!

Please stop changing things that work fine!!!
