I'm sure these aren't top of the line weights, but for the set and the rack the price is great. It's a good compliment for anyone doing p90x. The are well packaged. The rack is the rectangular style and easy to assemble. On top of all that the shipping was free through Amazon's super shipping saver. I think the UPS guy wanted to kill me, but maybe he just needed to go to the gym too.

A weight is a weight. These do what they are supposed, and the only thing I could see that was wrong was one of the numbers was stamped blurry. I prefer the hex style dumbbells because they are more comfortable than both the switchable weights (aka. powerblock) and the spin-lock dumbbells. If you have the space, this is the way to go. I just have a few spin locks to do anything over 25lbs.

The weights themselves are fine and the stand is solid and dead simple to assemble. I have no qualms with that.

However, the packing was the worst I've ever seen in my 15 years of ordering from Amazon. Because they were so shoddily packed, every box arrived shredded and held together by packing tape. It's almost as if the seller didn't realize that they were shipping CAST IRON WEIGHTS. Nothing was damaged or missing (thank cod) but I can't help but wonder what imbecile packed it.

Like everyone else the shipping on my product was terrible. So bad that 2 of the 5 boxes got turned around and sent back by ups.

Called amazon and got all that fixed up.

They then sent out another set. They all arrived as scheduled just boxes torn and beat up.

You really want to go to the shipping guy and say yo buddy you r shipping weights, let's put them is something thicker than a cereal box.

Just a heads up your ups guy will hate you. Give home a pat on the back or coke or something.

Onto the product. They are what you expect for the price. Are they the same quality you would get from like rouge.
NO but they also weren't 700 bucks.

We did sand some buys off ours so they didn't cut us. Yes some of the weight numbers weren't painted that well

But when it come down to it the weights are close to the weight claimed and do the job.

If you want to complain about the product spend way more money and you will be happier.

If you want functional at a great price get these guys.

Also the rack is nice and super easy to assemble.

Arrived with two washers missing. I called the 1-800 number on the paperwork and could not get the system to get me to a live person ... left a message that I was missing two washers and my phone number. Two days later they called me back and asked if I still needed the two washers. I said yes (I had gone to the hardware store to get washers to finish the assembly, but they weren't the black oxide that matched the others) ... washers arrived the next week. The dumbbells are good, but very basic.

My wife works out regularly with weights and this set has the 5 to 15lb dumbbells she uses as well as the 20 and 25 I use occasionally and they all fit on a tidy compact rack. The rack fabrication and assembly could be better; we found it impossible to put it together so it would sit flat on the floor and some of the mounting plates were bent, although these straightenend out once bolted. We have the rack on a rug, so the unevenness doesn't matter and it looks straight. The dumbbells themselves are cheaply made, but that doesn't affect much. The grips are textured on the 15, 20 and 25lb weights only. Overall we are very happy with this purchase.

The barbells and the rack are fine. Although the packaging was distroyed by the time they arrived, the barbells weathered the storm. Just in case, better packaging should be used with buble wrap or some type of cushioning. The rack itself had screws that did not fully fit into the shelves. I went to the hardware store, bout new ones and now it's fine and secure. It's not a big deal and I'm pretty handy, but I shouldnt have had to make this extra trip. The item should arrive ready to assemble.

The stand is nice and stable. The paint on the weights is chipped, and coming off. There are also burrs where you are supposed to hold the weights so they will either need sanded down so I don't cut myself, or I will have to buy a pair of gloves to wear. Bought them off Amazon because I had gift cards. I would have rather bought them from a local store. I would return them, but I don't want to pay for shipping.

Average set. Reasonable if you don't need a wide range of weights. Kind of disappointing that it tops out at 25lbs. When full, the rack doesn't quite hold all the pieces without skewing the last piece a bit, but that's no big deal. I use them in spite of the "flaws."
