The K&H Thermo-Kitty Mat is an affordable solution to owning a heated sleeping mat for your furry feline. Using only 6-watts of power, this incredibly comfortable bed has a dual thermostat heater buried beneath its soft foam, creating a cozy napping place for cats. This Thermo-Kitty Mat comes in a standard size of 12.5inch x 25 inch.
Also available in a larger size is the K&H Thermo-Pet Mat which measures 14 inch x 28 inch and has all of the same benefits as the Thermo-Kitty Mat. Both are available in a Sage or Mocha color, are MET listed and have removable covers for washing. These mats are a convenient size and fit almost anywhere. Your pet will enjoy indoor comfort year-round. Both cats and dogs love them! This product comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
The Secret Behind It All
The secret to this pet bed is its surface which will remain at 12 to 15 degrees above the ambient air temperature. As you pet lays down on it, it begins to warm to the animal’s normal body temperature making for a happy kitty or dog.
How to Test Your K&H Thermo-Kitty Mat
You can test your K&H Thermo-Kitty Mat by placing a large pillow on top of it. After about 20 minutes, feel under the pillow. It will feel warm, not hot. Do not use an extension cord during this test.
The surface of the bed will be about 15°F above ambient air temperature until the pet lies on the bed. Then it will warm to about 102°F, which is the natural body temperature of dogs and cats.
Care Instructions: Unplug and remove the internal Pet Bed Warmer. Remove the cover and wash it on the gentle cycle with cold water. Line dry or use the no-heat cycle on your dryer.

I plugged this mat in, waited a few minutes for it to warm up, then lifted up my (13 year old) cat and placed her on it. Since that moment a few days ago, every time I look the cat is on the mat. I keep the house fairly cold during the Fall/Winter months and she loves this oasis of heat. It also helps me sleep better at night since the cat no longer seeks my own body heat to keep her warm. This is a great product and if most cats like it half as much as mine does, it is well worth buying.

This pad is a winner! My cat loves it and spends hours and hours every day on this pad. She didn't understand it at first, and I think it had a "new" smell that wasn't appealing to her. My husband and I sat on it while watching TV over the course of a few nights to make it smell like the couch, and she was then willing to try it. It didn't take long for her to understand that it gets warm when she is on it. Now I can barely get her off of it, not that I want to. My husband and I even consdered buying a few more for ourselves, as the heat was quite nice on a winter's night watching TV! Highly recommended! I'm going to upload a couple of pictures too.

My cat makes it a point to turn up her nose at anything nice I buy for her - and only has real interest in anything belonging to the dog. She's getting older and having a harder time climbing up on the bed at night and allowing me to lay next to her. So, I ordered this mat and placed it in her (never used) cat bed. We put her in it twice, both times with her immediately jumping out with the patented cat "how dare you!" look. Two hours later, she came into the room and sniffed the mat. We held our breath and made sure not to directly look at her. She climbed in and sat there staring at us - daring us to acknowledge her presence. We did not. Moments later, she lay down, and has remained there ever since. As we tiptoe around her, we're amazed she has accepted our offering so quickly. Maybe she's softening with age? Nah, she's just cold. She's never looked so comfortable. If she were to review this, she'd probably give it 3 stars - but that is really the top of the cat scale.
