I bought a couple of pair for a leaky cat of ours. We had tried diapers and at first he refused to walk in them. When he finally got over that fear, he'd take off running and in 10 minutes he'd stroll by "naked". Just couldn't keep the diapers on him no matter how tight we taped them. But Piddle Pants stay on, are less bulky, and do a good job. The pads are thin but hold a lot of urine. Great product.

My cat is 15 inches long and therefor is within the small size parameters of 13-15 inches. However, the piddle pants are too big. The strap keeps falling off his shoulders and the pants are drooping. Apparently he is too skinny. There was no mention of weight in the description though. I have had tie a bow around the shoulders to keep it up.

When I contacted Joybies about this, they were very responsive. They are sending me an X-small no charge to see if that fits better. They have worked with me hassel free. Their only request is that I update them on the fit of the x-small. In this day and age of poor customer service, it is refreshing to see a company that is willing to work with its customers.

This product is fantastic. Our cat is 18 years old and no longer can control her bladder. This allows her to roam around the house without soiling the carpet or furniture. We don't have to confine her while we're home, which makes her life so much better (and ours, since we don't have to listen to her cry). We use the piddle pads with the product, which contain the urine well, and allow us to use the piddle pants several times before having to wash them. The pants are *really* easy to put on the cat. I just ordered a second one, so that I can rotate them out. I definitely recommend measuring your cat to make sure you get the right size. The only negative feedback was that it took 6 weeks to get my order. I waited 5 weeks, then contacted them. The order was mixed up with another one, and mine never shipped. Once I contacted them, I got my order in a week. The product is great, though, so I'm willing to wait for them.

Our 16 y.o. cat was run over and rendered incontinent (#1 and #2). He recovered well from a broken back and still seemed happy to be alive, so we dove into the messy business of diapering him. We discovered the piddle pants and are happy there is less waste involved in keeping our kitty around. We use a combo of a disposable during the day and the pants at night, though it could be the other way around really. Overall we are really happy with the pants, though we did have trouble with the sizing at first. He measures about 16" from neck to beginning of tail, so we ordered a medium. Turned out to be way to big for him, so tried the small (13"-15") and it seemed to fit. Now we have 3 of them that we rotate through. They stay on quite well and Lewis (the diaper cat) doesn't seem to mind them anymore. For the most part, they keep his waste contained. They are really easy to put on him - much easier than the disposable diapers.

Now for some ideas on improving these things:

1) Make the tail hole elastic, or at least smaller. We have figured out that if we position the pads partially covering the tail hole, it keeps the poops in better. It took weeks of refining to figure this out.

2) Add more velcro to the tabs so they can be tightened more. I actually added more myself with the sewing machine to really snug them on.

3) Thicker pads. We now double or even triple up the pads when we put them in the pants. For our needs, a menstrual pad would almost be better than the thin little ones sold by Joybies. Initially we tried one pad at a time, but it turned out to not be enough for our geriatric pee-er.

In conclusion, I'm really glad that such a thing exists.Read more ›

We got 2 pair for our 18 1/2 year old cat Oscar who after surviving cancer twice (!), has arthritis and now dementia gets confused sometimes and pees outside the litter box. I had read the reviews which were all fantastic with the exception of how long it took. With that in mind, I went directly to their website and ordered 2 pair and included a note telling the story of our baby, enclosing a photo and asking if they was any way for them to rush the order. These are custom sewed as they are ordered, so it makes sense that it takes a little longer than you might want. Jen at Joybies responded very quickly and gave some great advice on measuring to make sure we were ordering the right size. Got them just a week later - with part of the delay due to the US Postal service. During that week we used small doggie diapers, which did the job, but Oscar did end up walking out of them a couple of times, they didn't fit quite right, and cost a lot per diaper. The piddle pants are really designed for cats, and on top of that, are actually really cute on! Highly recommend!

When your aging cat is struggling with a urinary problem you order a product like this out of urgent need. I am still waiting for about 6 weeks for it to arrive, meanwhile my cat is pissing all over the place, yuk!!!

Cannot comment on the product because I DON'T HAVE IT YET.
