I put it on in about 5 minutes -- no tools needed at all.

Now, BEFORE you try to put it on, go to YouTube and see the video on how to do it. It's a simple and short process, but you have to use some force at the right time (because this is a new belt and not a stretched one) and in just the right way.

I bought the Freedom vacuum from a vacuum store. There is a reason an employee showed me how to change the belt before I bought the vacuum. These are great belts and I think it is more the vacuum than the belt's fault that I need to replace them after about every 10 vacuums. Still these are the only ones I can find that fit.
