Was somewhat doubtful how it would work since the plate is fairly light, being made of plastic. However, have used for about 2 weeks and am very satisfied ... food spillage from the dinner plate was almost completely eliminated; it is definitely a noticeable improvement.

Plate style has positive attributes, but does not work well with more reduced hand coordination/disability because the surface of the plate is too slippery. The concept is good, but the food slips around too much and can cause frustration when adults can't manage picking it up.

This is a well made durable non slip dishwasher and microwave safe dish. It is also larger than the other cheaper dishes I have. My biggest issue is it does not have the curved edge to assist with scooping the food. If it had that I would give it a 5.
