These are the only measuring spoons I could find that have markings (1 Tablespoon, 1/2 Teaspoon, etc.) that are actually raised, so no matter how many times they go through a sterilizer, the markings won't be rubbed off.

Also great build quality, thick metal.

As an added bonus, people thought they were super-hilarious / ironic in the environment I purchased them for :->

These measuring spoons are so beautiful, strong, and practical. I got these as a gift from my husband with the measuring cups. I collect roosters and these were a perfect fit in my kitchen. The detail on them is roosters and sunflowers. What I like most about them is the little bubbly shaping going on around the outer edge of each spoon. These spoons look like they are made of peuter but as I said with the cups, I am not sure what metal they are and assume they are stainless steel. These are deffinitly not measuring tools you would hide in a drawer. The spoons as well as cups have matching hangers, but sold seperately. I absolutley love these, look out Paula! I saw her measuring cups and spoons on TV before I got mine and was jealous, until I got mine, the rooster ones are so much prettier.

I've started collecting these since I found a set of them at my mom's house after she died a few years ago. The are so charming and have such character. Beware them falling down into where your disposal is...some of them are small enough to go unnoticed until the disposal is turned on. Believe me. I like to wash them by hand; I've had the handles of the measuring CUPS discolor in the dishwasher. Now that I think about it, these have also discolored in the dishwasher too. They're still darling & charming, but wash by hand if you want to keep the pretty silver look. I'll continue to buy more, especially when I can find them for less than $20; they're unique gifts and fun to keep as well.

Somehow was expecting the little rooster thingamajig to place them on... it doesn't come with it. So these are not displayed in my awesomely decorated rooster themed kitchen, like I wanted. Instead, they are shoved into the drawer. Having that little thingamajig would have made displaying them nice. So only a 4 star, not because they aren't awesome but because their beauty can't ever be displayed. Hmmm, I guess they do keep the rooster flatware company. I suppose there are worse things than having a drawer full of cocks, right?
