This is my fifth or sixth pair of beadlock tires. I have the 2.0/3.2 proline beadlocks. I have the maximizer 3.2 beadlocks. The description on these wheels is horrible. Axial's website has a few more details on them. For starters, these are 3.8 inch beadlock wheels. They use a 3.8 inch tire or "40 series" tire. I've installed Big Joes and Mashers on these wheels and they go on fine. I can't speak to durability yet, but fitment is not an issue. I use a small electric screwdriver to install the beadlock ring and leave the screwdriver set to it's lowest torque setting. They do not need to be torqued down tight, just snug. Each ring has either 12 or 16 screws distributing the load. Do not over tighten these as the plastic is soft and the hole will strip. Every single RC beadlock I've bought has this issue. The solution is not to torque them excessively. One feature that is nice is that they use cap head screws, so that when you strip out the hex head, you can still remove the screw with a pair of pliers. If the head was flush mount - like proline's - you would have to replace the tire.
I bought these in black and in the dark chrome. I will be buying another set of each and I will stick with Axial for my future rc beadlock purchases.
I forgot to mention. The tire says 17mm, but it also comes with a 14mm adapter.
