I'm very disappointed in this case. I bought it for the lock so I can be California compliant without having to run the cable lock through my gun. The reason I'm so disappointed with this case is because it comes with flat foam inside that it half as thick as the egg crate foam that came in my included, non locking case. The result when I put my Glock 17 inside is that the foam doesn't hold the gun at all, it freely slides around in the case...wtf? Can anyone explain this to me??? I'm going to have to rip out this foam and pay more than the already $46 for new foam and something to secure it with. I don't like complaining, but this case should compress and hold a G17 with no problem....

I bought two of these cases to use for other guns that I have. They work very well in holding the guns in place and provide enough room to get the gun and 4 extra magazines inside. I am talking about full size auto pistols or revolver. The latches work smoothly and the lock secures both sides by the latches. Unusual type of key, which is a straight bar with indentations drilled partially into the bar.

I liked this thing. Lockable and the keys looks nice too. and It fits perfectly my Glock 43 plus 3 magazines with Taran Tactical +2 extensions and a 50 round box of 9mm ammo. It works. And you can fly with it because it's lockable and very light and easy to just put away or throw in your check in bags. Sealed tight. But I change the foam inside. It don't come with the same foam like the original Glock case. It comes with plain foam ( no ripples) and it's thin. Swapping the foam from the Original Glock case works perfect. I recommend this. It's good case double lock with key, fly with it all day!

I bought this based on a recommendation from another customer at the local gun shop. I have several other hard cases for pistols, but he pointed out that they require a small padlock and those style cases can then be pried open, I checked for myself and found that to be true. I have not flown or dealt with the TSA yet but want to be able to conceal carry when I travel to states that offer reciprocity.

The box is very roomy, its just like the OEM case except that it locks.
It does not have the egg crate foam show. It has flat higher density foam. This means that the gun and such slides around inside loosely.
The first one I got the lock jammed open. It was replaced quickly.

Great case just like the factory case but lockable, which is required in California to transport a hand gun. Comes with all of the factory documentation, cleaning rod and brush. Only thing missing are the handgun, magazines, and loader.
