I bought the neti pot and this product to relief the symptoms of my chronic nasal congestion. I did it religiously for a few weeks, but frankly, I didn't see any improvement, or at least any worth mention. I can't blame it on this product, I guess it really comes down on your symptoms and expectations, this nasal rinse just doesn't work for anyone.

At the behest of a friend I went ahead and tried this. It's tough to get the hang of, and I swear I almost drowned myself the first few times. However, once you figure it out and use it at the first sign of nasal/sinus irritation it can help tremendously. The key is to use this before your sinus situation escalates. Once you can't breathe through your nose it won't help.

Over the past few years I've come to rely on the use of a Neti pot for sinus relief during cold, flu and allergy season. It's convenient to order through Amazon, because it saves me a trip to a box store, where I routinely find that they don't carry the product. The packets are convenient. My one gripe (hence the 4 stars, not 5) was that the seller didn't get this product to me for a ridiculous 3 weeks, during the height of a terrible cold. Its just salt for pete's sake.

It's easy to use and the saline solution dissolves quickly but the pot itself is made out of very cheap plastic unlike the picture.

My Neti pot is the best thing I've done for myself for a long time. I wish I could give it more than five stars. My allergy doctor recommended it to me and it has made a great difference in my comfort level. I put a mirror on the bathroom counter to help me get the proper head position and that took care of the problem I had with the water running down and dripping down my chin. I highly recommend this product to anyone with allergies and sinus problems. I'm an RN and have seen a lot of patient problems as well as my own experience. It works wonders for dry "winter" nose also.

I have used this for many years. Takes about 2mins to use the neti pot. I can even talk while pouring it through.Hold your head to one side and almost upside down.Use it at an hour before bed to allow the sinuses to drain completely.Have a tissue handy. Great if you have congestion, allergy, or cold. I used it after sinus surgeries.Couldn't live without it.
