Love these! I bought them to cook single serving TV dinners in the toaster oven for quick lunches, but have also used them for quick, small quiches and lasagnas. They are sturdy and the color stands up to the oven and the dishwasher!

UPDATE: It's now been 2 months of almost daily usage - in the toaster over and dishwasher - and they still look exactly the same as they did the day they arrived! Really good quality -- no scratches -- I am really, really happy with these dishes!!

One thing I forgot to say - the packaging they came in just sucked. The individual dishes were packed in thin, weak cardboard and I think I bought 6 and they were all thrown loosely into a cheap cardboard box. I don't remember any bubble wrap. Just unbelievably bad packaging! Two were broken when they arrived (easily returned) so I see some people commented on that, and I have to agree - the packaging was almost deliberately bad, but the dishes themselves are awesome!

The Fiesta casserole dishes are the perfect size for serving individual portions. They have a substantial thickness and weight and are very well made. I bought white and have not experienced any issues with scratches at all like I read in another review. I have owned white Fiesta dishes for over 10 years and they have all held up extremely well, no chips, cracks or scratches.

I thought I paid attention to the measurements but I failed to realize that the nine inch measurement includes the handles at both ends, so this item is pretty tiny. However, on a positive note, the weight and quality seem very nice. I'd recommend it to someone cooking for just one person. I'm sure I'll find some use for it since it doesn't seem worth returning it.

Got this for my wife to match some of our other Fiesta ware. She loves it; it's perfect for cooking for two! Yes, the measurements are 9x5" at the top of the opening, just like every other dish I own. My 9x13 glass dishes are 7-1/2 x 11 at the bottom too.

It has held up to multiple uses and trips through the dishwasher and is a quality piece of cookware. It performs its intended function admirably and durably.

The Fiesta Individual Casserole dish is a great addition to your Fiesta collection. We use these for pot pies as well as a dish for stews and casseroles. It makes meal time fun with the bright colors and since the dishes are oven and dishwasher safe it it easy to bake with and the clean up is easy with the dishwasher.

Indeed, these are deceptively small, but still more than suffice for a side dish. I recently made a cottage pie in one of these and it served as a "small" meal for me (American standards) but the thing that is great about these is that, once heated, it really does keep the food warm! My cottage pie was still steaming almost to the last bite (compensate your cooking times - it still "cooks" even when it's not in the oven)

I think that these serve as a brilliant side dish. Maybe not an entree unless you eat less, but they are made really nicely, they have an elegant look to them so you would be happy to serve something in here with a main course... even to "posh" dinner guests!

I think if you want to make something like a mac n cheese or broccoli n cheese... anything with cheese, really... served on the side, these dishes are amazing! I really enjoyed experimenting with them and look forward to using them when I cook something for a dinner guest.

This little dish is perfect for individual personal portions. Great to use for a pot pie, shepherd's pie, soup, chili, anything. The colors are so rich and pretty, in this case, tangerine. These are quite heavy and larger than anticipated. I wanted them for making individual servings of casseroles or lasagna. If filled about halfway, they make a nice size serving and allow for things to bubble up without oozing out of the dish. If you've got someone with a larger appetite, filling them 3/4's of the way would easily satisfy that person. I have particularly enjoyed it for making lasagna.. I serve them on an oblong flat plate which allows for a small salad and garlic bread to be served along side. The lasagna stays hot longer than if served from a large pan onto cold plate so that you can really enjoy all that gooey cheese!
