Great for recipes like meatloaves, sauces or dips requiring minced garlic if you do not have fresh on hand or do not want to take the time out to mince. As the dehydrated garlic flakes are similar to the size as dehydrated onions...it makes it so easy to add to the recipe dry or reconstitute with a bit of water. Difficult to find in my local grocery store so I'm very happy with the find. A bit expensive but it will last a long time as you do not need to use that much in recipes.

It is obviously a matter of taste, but we sprinkle minced garlic on lots of the foods we make. If it is used in a pan-fried dish, it crisps up to add a crunch to the sharp and distinct garlic flavor. A sprinkled product is simpler to use than fresh garlic (which we also employ where appropriate.) We will reorder this product.

Now that we are Empty Nesters fresh garlic just goes bad between uses. This is a convenience option and results are nearly identical.

This product is not good. It is full of hard skins of the peeled garlic cloves as well as very hard pieces of sticks or roots maybe. i am very impressed with all the products from this company, but they missed the mark on this one. I pitched this whole bag in the trash.

These are great, keep really well and have good taste and aroma. I use them for soup, stew, and sauce. They are also useful for frying if you want a strong garlic taste. They dry garlic tends to burn/brown quickly and in doing so makes a very nice but strong taste. Great for Port Chops, or small things like chicken breast, but not so good for a thick steak as it takes too long to cook the steak and the garlic burns too much.
