Tried it first for 1 month - Definitely works. Have low chronic back pain. Nothing too painful that I need actual pain pills for. But for the past 6 months it seems even after a brisk walk I can feel pain in my lower back . It had been getting slowly worse.
I do not like having to take Tylenol or any aspirin products on a daily basis.
So I looked up Ginger Supreme - Also looked up on the internet if you truly wanted this product to be above and beyond all the rest that are on the internet it had to be GINGER ROOT SUPERCRITCAL CO2 EXTRACT. So I saw that Amazon had the best price.

Now before doing a review I like to try it for a month and see if I really see a difference. Well, I have seen a big difference. I was taking 2 pills 12 hours apart in the beginning. It says to take with meal. So I take it right after my meal. I was use to taking a pillow with me to restaurant to help support my lower back - placing pillows all around me at home to sit at table to eat. Not now!!!

I only now take 1 capsule in the morning. I will not say it entirely alleviated the pain but it is so not there now. I mean truly I forget I have any lower back pain. Sometimes it is not there at all. After cleaning my house, dusting, mopping under beds - vacuuming under beds (having to get on floors with knees) I will feel later that day some minimal pain in my lower back but nothing that would require even 1 Tylenol . In that case I would take another capsule making a total of 2 pills on the particular day- and pain gone around 2 hours later.

This is rather expensive, but, for me it works so well, it's worth the price. Instead of using ibuprofen and or aspirin, I use Gaia Herbs Ginger Supreme, recommended to me by employee at Natural Foods. I believe I started out taking the 2 x day and currently, just once a day. My need for OTC 'pain' meds is down to 1 -2 times a month and only with severe headache pain. I appreciate having this capsule as part of my daily, preventative arsenal against chronic inflammation and pain.

I used to take the powder capsules before taking this. I can feel the difference right away after taking this. You can feel the heat in my stomach from the ginger, so you can tell it is more effective than the powder ones. Worth the price!

I was suffering from a lot of pain and nausea, and I bought this product because ginger tea was helping but wasn't strong enough. This product actually made my stomach pain and nausea worse, BUT I don't think it was the ginger. This product also has a small amount of turmeric in it. Although turmeric is praised for it's anti-inflammatory properties, it is hard on delicate stomachs. I had hoped the amount was minimal enough to help rather than make things worse, but that wasn't the case for me. I took about 3/4 of the bottle several different ways before giving up.
