Cheaper than the one in the store and anywhere else online even if you count in the shipping fee. Quality is good in general. Nothing to complain about so far.

The overall rating of this product was good, so I was both disappointed and surprised to find that the cable didn't work.

Upon close examination of the photos on the sale page, I realized that this is not a single product. If you closely examine the photos of the item show at least 3 different products. And the one that they shipped me was a 4th and cheaper looking version.

The text printed on the side says "Global Link Network Patch Cable 5e 4pr-etl tia/eia-568b". The plastic filling is irregular and shows bubbles. The plastic is extremely soft and has an odd smell. Did I mention that the cable didn't work? There's no way this meets 5e standards.

I ordered 2 other cables at the same time of different lengths. This one, sold by: fastvibes, was the only one that didn't work. The best quality one was sold by: Amamax.

If I see another cable for sale by Amamax I might buy it, but otherwise, based on my experience and the reviews, buying a network cable from this page is a crapshoot- not worth it. Amazon has some QA/QC issues to work on here.

These cables were obviously homemade, but since the photos show that, I'm not going to hold that against them. The ones from MIRAMAX work great and came free with Prime, a major plus for me. Although I run plenty of cable, this is great to have around when you just want to connect two things across a room to troubleshoot and rule out the wall wiring, not to mention letting non-techies install their own cable. It works great at full gigabit speeds in every instance I tried it, though I haven't used all 5 yet. The price is a bit high for homemade cable with no rubber bumpers or any other niceties, though.

I don't get the negative reviews; I pulled this cable through 4 wall sections with no damage or connector looseness, what so ever. Works just fine.

Great price, speedy shipping, but in the end, cable didn't work. Dissapointing when you need the cable for a home office but want to avoid giving Best Buy 30 dollars for the same thing. On the contrary, Best Buy's cables probably work though.

If you are making a permanent network and need a few cost effective cables get these! If you think you will need to unhook the cables or anything you may want to look elsewhere...

PROS:
+works at expected speeds
+great length for going across a living room or computer lab.
+no snag end protects the ends if being pulled through a wall or tight space

CONS:
-very difficult to unhook from the ethernet card (and I have tried it on 2 laptops, a desktop an xbox 360 and a ps3 with the same result on all)
-minimal shielding means if you're going through a magnetic field or past live power you may lose data every now and then (probably not enough to even be concerned with).

Overall it gets a 4/5 because it does work good for the casual computer user and it's really affordable but if you look close enough it too has some small flaws.

Not much to say, I suppose, other than this cable has successfully transferred information around various homes and apartments for over two years now and has worked perfectly the entire time! The quality of the cable is high, and it has survived multiple moves and a decent amount of wear and tear due to at one point being run directly through a high traffic area in my house. Great price for excellent quality!

I am absolutely not an expert, but this cable has served me pretty well. I have it connecting a pc to a router. I use that pc solely for an online video game. It's been fine. I know some people had trouble with the ends breaking. I took this through a tight hole in the floor, squeezing it past another cable in the same hole, and it was fine. The only issue I have encountered...on a couple of occasions, the router hasn't been able to locate the cord even though it is plugged in. It took some jiggling and blowing to get it to work. I think it has happened twice in the 4-5 months that I've had the cable. It is definitely the cable since I have never had this problem with anything else connected to the router, and my other cables work fine in the same slot. That being said, I would still buy it again. It gets the job done for a good price.
