They do absorb odor but they are very thin and have to be changed frequently. I mean like every 4 or 5 days. I tried going a full week but it's too long. I have two cats using one box. I empty the catch tray every other day but the filters need to be changed every 4 to 5 days regardless.

They have reduced the thickness on these to about half of what they used to be, and now they don't stay on the holding pin. I have to tape them in place. Definitely not pleased.

For me these never stay in place, so I really don't know if they work good or not. Every time I go to empty the waste dispenser the filter is gone it falls right in the waste container

There's definitely a noticeable difference when I don't use the filters, I just wish they made more of a difference when I do use them. The litter box is great and the filters are almost a necessity depending how often you empty the used litter.
