    Love the style, look & feel of these shoes, but after my 15 month old walked around for a out 30 minutes or so in our house she had a pretty red indent where the cover part meets the strap. I think her feet (& her twins) are just kind of thick on the top- my friends 17 month old has the same shoes & no such indent. We tried 2 sizes before returning them :( if your child has thinner feet I think they'd be fine.

    We love the way the shoes are made and how they look, but apparently our baby has large feet for her age, 12 months. The shoe is perfect as far as length-wise, but we couldn't get the shoe on her feet because the tops of her feet were too puffy and the width was a bit snug. I'm going to order them again size 4W., and see how they fit.

    These shoes are TERRIFIC! Please note they do run somewhat large. You may want to buy 1/2 - 1 size smaller than usual if you want them to be used immediately. This also leads to the problem that my child doesn't quite fit into their "stages" properly. My baby's foot is too small for the stage 3 "walking" shoes they sell. So, although she is full-on walking, she is wearing stage 2 instead of stage 3. The good news is, these are still PERFECT first walker shoes. The bottoms are very gripp-y and they appear to be quite comfortable on. The material is extremely durable. Although the leather gets quite dirty, they wipe clean very easily. The leather, soles, and straps are in perfect condition (minus a little dirt!) despite heavy usage over many weeks!
    Like all baby shoes, once your child figures out how to work velcro straps, you will likely have a problem with them taking them off in the car, etc. However, that is just to be expected at this point!

    Our motor-precocious 1 year old loves wearing these shoes. I liked them because they are velcro and are sturdy. She does not trip over them when she gets running and they are supportive enough that she can wear them while exploring outside. Very happy with these shoes!!

    I really like these shoes for my 18 month old daughter. She doesn't mind wearing them all day and they never leave a mark or sore spot on her foot. They are lightweight and seem to bend when she walks. The leather is soft and not rigid. The leather strap on the top can be used to tighten the shoe to make sure they don't fall off.
