    I have been searching and searching for years for the kind of knee high tube socks that I grew up wearing finally I found these are exactly what I want in a sock stretchable to your exact fit they go up to your knee base they have 3 stripes around the top and their cotton and comfortable and they stay on , when you finish putting them on then that's how they stay until you take them off they comfortable breathable cotton knee high sock it stays on it feels great its supportive ,and I have been searching for years I just want a tube sock with no set in heel I hate set heel in socks and I hate shorty socks and calf socks half way up socks they don't stay up and I found these I have repeated this order three times since ordering these I will be re ordering these again they are that great , I certainly hope they continue to make these for a very long time but I am stocking up just in case. buy this you will be happy you bought these these are the best you wont find any better quality than these I am going to buy more they are just that worth it I give five stars of five.

    I have used Wigwam products for over 25 years. I really don't have to say anything else... these products are well made, have held their consistent quality control over the years.

    The socks are always worn with work or military boots. They wick off sweat and are generally very comfortable. One problem I always had with other brands.... I have large calves that tended to wear out the elastic tops of others quickly. Wigwam's take years to finally wear out.

    I am 6 feet tall. My size is proportionally normal. I ordered these socks expecting them to come to my knees. Instead they fell 4-inches short. The sock is normal like other athletic socks. But I really wanted a sock that would fully cover my calves.

    Maybe the 70's tube socks were shorter a bit but these are about 1-2" shorter than the standard white wigwam tube socks. I'm on the shorter side, 5'8" so if your a tall person you may find these to fit more like a long crew. I wish Wigwam would move the seem to the end of the toe rather than on top of your toe. This way you could flip em over and double the life. Putting the seam under you toes is annoying!

    I am an average (height and weight) sized woman which is why I was very surprised that a sock sold as a "Men's ... Knee High ... " sock does not even reach my knee. Because of the short length the elastic needs to grip the biggest part of my calf - these socks fell down easily during the first wearing!
    I expected better performance because of reading at least one previous rave review (written by a man {?}) about how the socks never fell down.

    Finally a pair of tube sock that are mostly cotton. I keep buying tubesocks for the calf compression as a way to prevent varicose veins. The only problem is that most socks are poly something and are extremely hot. With these my feet have a fighting chance.

    I just Fractured my left Fibula and and wearing one of those black heavy "cast boots". I am 6' 2" and wear a size 12 shoe. These tube socks do come higher up than regular tube socks by about 3 inches but fall short by about 4" to knee high on me. As far as my boot they are about 2" short as to the top ridge, I had hoped for. Guess one positive is that since I only wear one at a time, it is like having two changes for the price of one pair. Others may find these fit much better depending on their height. They are a good quality sock, however.
