This 13.5 inch solid stainless steel pan is the ideal product for cooking the perfect paella. This pan is made in Spain in old fashioned tradition and is a true paella pan – wide, round and shallow, and with splayed sides. It is exactly the type that has been used in Spain through the ages. Paella is cooked in a thin layer which is the reason that paella pans are large and shallow. You will notice the large cooking surface that dips slightly in the middle to facilitate pooling of oil during preliminary sauteing. Myson paella pans are ideally suited for paella, but you will find your way to limitless uses for other dishes. It’s great for grilling, fish fries, clam bakes, breakfast, and a variety of outdoor cooking. Myson paella pans are meant to be used over an open flame, either in the kitchen on a gas cook top or over an open fire outdoors. This pan’s copper construction gives you the highest level of cooking temperature control. Only copper offers ultra-fast heat up and instant cool-off when removed from the burner. The secret is high thermal conductivity – copper is ten times more thermally conductive than steel, and twice as thermally conductive as aluminum. Copper makes a brilliant presentation at serving time too. Brass plated handles add a touch of elegance. Unlike bare steel pans, tin lined pans do not require seasoning and will never rust.
