Needs improvement

This mixer is absolutely horrible. It's very hard to turn on and you have to press very hard to do so. Also, the battery cover at the top of the mixer slides off when you press the on/off button. This is due to the amount of force you have to apply to turn the unit on. To get the mixer working (without the hand cramps) I had to use a screwdriver to adjust the metal connector inside the battery compartment so that I or my wife don't have to press so hard. However, in doing so I have to take the battery cover off just for the mixer to stop. I shouldn't have to re-engineer the product to get efficient use of it. This is a very poor design. Avoid at all cost!

Save your money

I have 2 children under 2. I use and rely on many Munchkin products that are reliable and sturdy. This is NOT one of them. I began using the Munchkin mixer a little over 2 years ago with my oldest daughter. It broke within a month. I ended up finding a Prince Lionheart brand one that has lasted me a year and a half. It just broke, and I had trouble finding another. I bought another Munchkin mixer in the meantime. This one didn't even last 3 weeks. Water gets up in the motor and the battery compartment & rusts. The button for mixing is on the top, hard to push and doesn't mix bottles well. I ended up buying another Prince Lionheart model and will never go back. Please don't waste your money on this product.

Worked for a little while then it didn't work at all

This mixer worked for a few months with no problems and then one day it just stopped. We went back to babies'r'us and got a replacement and that one worked for about a few weeks and then started to die. I would not recommend this mixer for anyone. We are now back to shaking formula until we find something better.

This is a great product in theory

This is a great product in theory. As others have mentioned it is difficult to push the button to turn it on and it does go through batteries quickly. I found rechargeable batteries work best. Other than that it spins fast and really mixes formula well. We use Mam bottles and it fits nicely. My only advice is to only use it when mixing 4 ounce or larger bottles. With 2 ounce bottles, it splatters formula everywhere. It does somewhat with 4 ounce bottles too but not as bad as with smaller bottles.

Good but not good enough

This little mixer has a lot of power so it mixes great. However you have to hold a button down to keep it mixing & it's on the end which is a very awkward position. Also it's a little on the short side. I'm using it because in the end it gets the job done but I wouldn't purchase again.

This mixer is really bad...

I went with this mixer because my sister says its "great". I should of trusted the reviews here cause it sucks. It is very difficult to hold down the button and keep it constantly mixing (in fact it was painful). The button is attached to the top battery lid which keeps sliding off constantly. The mixer itself is extremely weak to the point of being useless. I will try to see if I can return it.

Needs a protruding button.

I like this because it mixes my baby's formula in the bottle. Mixes way better and faster than shaking it. Only beef with this thing is the button is too deep. It's basically flat with the rest of the mixer. I had to add a little rubber button to it. They should make the button stick out some. It actually hurts my hand to use it without the added button. Arthritis.
