I have never worked in a salon, but have been cutting my family's hair for years. This cape works for everyone from my two year old to my husband because it has an adjustable velcro collar. It's light enough to not be too hot, but still sturdy enough to last and packs away for convenient storage.

The quality of this cape is so inferior I don't no where to begin describing my disappointment. I have used this cape a total of 6 times and it is going in the trash today. The back is not long enough, and the material is splitting in more than 7 spot around the velcro. I would not recommend purchasing it.

I chose a five star rating because this Shampoo Cape was exactly what I needed. I've have taught my wife how to cut my hair and I decided that I needed a Barber Cape just for personal use. I came across this cape and decided to try it. It has the velcro lining which holds it in place and the length and width are reasonable for home use. I really love it and I might just get myself a second one.

kinda flimsy, much thinner plastic than the old cape i had. also prefer the kind of velcro closure that looks like a wedge rather than a strip around the neck, as i have a pretty small neck and i have to pull it all the way to the end & it doesn't feel very secure.
that being said, the price is probably an accurate reflection of the quality.

I brought this for my Mum as she dyes her own hair, but I was disappointed to see that it wasn't knee length all the way round. It's long at the front and then only about a foot or so at the back. Maybe if I actually measured out the dimensions I would have worked that out, but in case you're like me and don't, now you know. It also doesn't join under the arms. Otherwise it seemed ok.

This is a very nice, professional quality shampoo cape. I wear it for applying hair color at home. Then, I just wipe it off with a damp sponge, or quickly hand wash it in the sink. I rub it dry with a towel, hang it over the shower rod, and it dries quickly.

The size of the cape is accurate, although they seem extremely small. (Larger than children's capes, definitely not large enough for normal sized men). The material is cheap and rips easily. I would absolutely NOT buy this product again. Absolutely horrible.
