My 17 year old son plays the drum set for our church 3 times a week for worship. He plays pretty hard but usually a pair of drumsticks will last him about 2-3 weeks. These sticks don't even last the 30 minutes he plays in one night! Tonight he had a new pair and as he was playing one of them split and flew up and stabbed him in the cheek under his eye. It actually cut his face! The first set he used were all splintered out after he used them once on Sunday morning. They are certainly not very durable and should be considered disposable. I guess we will go back to Vic Firths. They are more expensive, but worth it and they have never broken on the first use.

awesome, lightweight sticks!! not the MOST durable sticks ever, but they do fine for gigs. if they break, it looks cool and throw em to the crowd. if they don't, throw em to the crowd anyway. great sticks and very worth the price...won't run outta sticks for a while. I definitely recommend these

There was a problem with the first shipment and I received only one set of sticks. After a quick call to amazon regarding the screw up, they sent out another shipment overnight. The correct shipment arrived the next day and because of the mistake I actually got a baker's dozen...13 sets in all. The sticks play well and are not completely polished so that they seem facilitate a better grip. I have been breaking them more frequently, not sure if it's the quality of the sticks or my brute strength, but for the price I'm not too worried about it.

dont waste your money these sticks will last about 1 day if you are a heavy player you will have to use them for firewood

These sticks are so poorly matched they're not good for much of anything except firewood. Oh, I did use one to hold open a door once... I'd never put a good stick into a door jam so it did save me from ruining some good sticks.

They're really cheap, like a dollar a stick. You gst what you pay for. I've had some last days, some minutes. I just wanted a bumch of cheap replaceable sticks to leave at a shared practice space. This'll do, but if you want good quality sticks, spend more than $2/pr.

Very good sticks for the money. I bought these for my Alessi dm6 set and they are very good quality, smooth and straight. Not sure what happened to the other folks that got crooked sticks. Mine are straight as far as I can tell rollong them in pairs on my dining room table. No issues.

For about $30 the set is fine. The tips are more ball shaped than tapered (all wood). Light weight. As a music teacher, they are perfect to give away to percussion students and have plenty in the classroom for student use. Also good for younger/starting drummers since you will have many sticks to go through before needing to buy more. Professional drummers would obviously purchase higher quality sticks.
