Will dissolve off an item you put it on if submerged in water. I have an empty paint gallon that I float on the top of a rain barrel, it was getting rust so I cleaned off the rust, painted it and then coated it. After two days I placed it back into the water, next day the coating was falling off and watery. I wiped ot off with a paper towel

This is good stuff. I have been looking at this for years and I finally tried it. I like it very much. One needs to give several days to cure. It dries fast but it stays soft for several days.

I used this product to re-coat the contact surfaces of my guitar stand to replace the rubber guards that cracked, deteriorated and fell off. If you follow the directions, it works great. The only drawback was the drying or curing time. It took several days before I was comfortable putting the stand back into use. Just be patient. The good part was, it is water soluble. I used to coat the handles of my tools years ago when I was a truck mechanic. That's where I got the idea for my guitar stand. Good product

I still can't get a smooth professional coat from it. Granted the bumps and bubbles do make for a better grip but aesthetically its not that pretty. Maybe I got a bad batch. I watered it down a bit which made it better. Either way tools are about function not form so I'm still pleased with the product.

It is a bit thick and caused some lumps but we just dipped twice plus what we used it on it really did not matter. It works and that really was all we wanted. I however wish it came in a smaller size . . . Who knows maybe I will find another use for it.

I was hoping for a thicker rubber coating, but it feels really cheap and rubs off easily. It almost feels like acrylic paint. It probably is acrylic paint.

Must be old. followed directions dipped waited 30 mins. dipped again, waited 24 hrs. stuff was soft and not completely dry.Scraped it off said forget it. Do not recommend .
