One of the most entertaining sitcoms of the 80's is back as all 26 Season Two episodes of Charles In Charge are now on DVD for the first time ever. Tag along with teen idol Scott Baio (Happy Days) as he takes on the role of live-in helper for a new family, the Powells. Between his college friend, Buddy (Willie Aames, Eight is Enough) and the mischievous Powell kids including Jamie (Baywatch beauty Nicole Eggert joined the cast in Season two), Sarah (Josie Davis) and Adam (Alexander Polinsky), Charles has his hands full and learns how to keep up with his own life while keeping the household going. Even when things spiral out of control, Charles manages to always to be a positive role model for his three teenage charges. Bonus features include commentary with series stars
Scott Baio and Willie Aames.

5.0 out of 5 stars Season 2 Much Better than the first!, December 12, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Season 2 definitely is better than Season 1 for Charles in Charge. We now have the Powell family and they brought a whole new perspective to the show. I love the new family, they fit in better with Charles. It has better laughs and Buddy as always is fun to watch as well. I am glad to see the new season come out and can't wait for the rest. Go buy this one if you loved this show. Its good fun to watch.

4.0 out of 5 stars Charles Defintley in Charge!!, October 11, 2007
I highly reccomend getting the 2nd season of late 80's- early 90's comedy Charles in Charge. The second season of this widley funny but quite silly show finds Charles (no last name) the Coplend College student taking care of a new family's children. The Powell's consist of the intellectual middle child syndrome Sarah, the bimbow- airhead- still sweet Jaime, and their baby brother Adam whose only joy in life is to torture his siters. Join Charles while he embarks on his everyday adventures of teaching the kids right from worng, going to college, and chasing girls with his best friend, the not too bright but heartwarming Buddy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Classic '80s comedy!, March 27, 2009
If you can forget the awkward transition between Seasons 1 and 2 -- the Pembroke family's suddenly moving away, and basically leaving Charles behind as live-in childcare for whoever else moves into their house -- this show is full of fun.

Scott Baio stars as Charles, a college student helping cover expenses by boarding with the Powells, a local family with three adolescent children. Between classes and wisecracks from ever-present friend Buddy (Willie Aames), Charles is always on hand to lend an ear or give a little advice to Jamie, Sarah or Adam Powell.

Particularly memorable episodes include "Buddy Comes to Dinner," where an unfortunate little accident causes Buddy to recuperate (annoyingly) at the Powells'; and "The Naked Truth," where Charles makes the discovery that a girl he's attending an art lecture for is involved in a way he never dreamed.

If you want some guaranteed laughs, make sure to give Charles a try!
