It isn't until I come to the "write a review" page that I see a representative picture of the worthless bent wire that I was shipped, instead of the wireframe drawing of what I thought I was actually ordering.

It's my fault for not heeding the other review that said pretty much the same thing.

I chose to put some work into bending the original retainer back into shape instead of sticking this joke into my wall.

The original and the picture show a stamped brass clip. The clip that was provided was a formed wire. Seems to work OK but probably would not have purchased it if the picture had been accurate and shown as a formed wire.
