I saw this on-line and thought the design was cute; however, now that I am working on it, I am disappointed in the quality of the felt. It is very thin and cheap. I am finishing the stocking and hope by the time I am finished it will look nice and last. However, I have my doubts.

Pretty perfect. This will take you a very long time to do, but it's worth it. The only change I would make is to have the felt pre cut. It would take down the craft time by probably 1/3.

The instructions could be a TAD clearer, but if you know anything about hand embroidery, you will be able to figure it out.
I have not finished yet, but I plan to finish by Christmas. (hopefully!)

I've been assembling stocking kits for years but this is the WORST I have ever seen! The instructions were incorrect in several places, the stamping on the felt was so light that you couldn't see where an iten was to be placed AND the numbers of each applique item were too light as well. As a seasoned veteran of Buscilla stockings, I finally gave up on the instructions and assembled it based on my previous experience. I will NEVER buy another Janlynn kit and advise anyone else not to buy any.

The ink on the felt was too faint to see. When I tried to return it through Amazon, they wouldn't deal with it and told me to contact the vendor. Still no go, so now I have an un-usable purchased item. DON"T buy through Amazomn.

The delivery was as great, and I am happy with the overall product and very happy with the final result, especially for the price. However, luckily I am an experienced crafter of many years and have done this type of project before, because the instructions were horrible. As an experienced crafter, I know the importance of some types of projects following a specific order (put which piece on where and in what order, etc.) and as I said, I was able to figure it out, but I couldn't help but think about the frustration that a beginner would feel trying to work on this project. I also was missing a lot of the sequins, which I didn't try to contact the company, I was able to purchase them very inexpensively at my local craft store, I was missing some of the floss, (a common color and I had some on hand), and the printing of the pieces on the felt was so light on some of the pieces that I could barely make out where to cut them out and could not read the number of the piece, I had to figure out what was what by the shape and the diagram, both frustrating and time consuming.

Overall, if you've done this type of craft before, you should be able to complete it even with the bad instructions and it actually was a very simple project, I had it done fairly quickly, and as I said, I am very happy with the final result. By the way, if you know how to do it, adding a lining is a great touch, I'm really glad I did.

I have made several of these and used various kits. Never has all the sequins and beads been thrown all together in a bag. NOT convenient! Much time has to be spent separating all the different colors of sequins. Very annoying. Would not buy this brand again.

I was happy with this stocking kit. The only complaint that i have is that all the beads & sequins were together in on bag & I had to seperate them. The Bucilla kits always come with each color of beads, and each color of sequins seperated in their own bag.

Working on it now disappointed that many of the beads were not open enough for needle, had to go to AC Moore to get additional beads. When I made stockings in the past it always gave you more than you needed
