I was skeptical when I read the hype but I really needed some good, small, external speakers for my Palm Centro, so decided to take the leap. It knew, if I wasn't satisfied, it would be no hassle; with Amazon's "easy return", to simply pop it back in the box and return it the same day.

I would have done that, a heartbeat, but it lived up to the hype.

It really is quite remarkable because the sound is lush, and dynamic; with a lot power. It doesn't feel canned or constrained.

I'm impressed, and that is saying a lot; for me.

I bought 2 - one for me and one as a gift for a friend. At first, we were both amazed at the sounds quality - rich and clear and strong! But then, both of them, within two weeks of each other, became horrible: The connection wouldn't work and you would have to jiggle the jack forever to get it to work for a few seconds, and then it wouldn't work again. The fact that both broke, in the same way, on different devices, tells me Nokia knew, or should have known, of serious quality problems, yet they still pushed this out to the public for short-term profit. But now, both of us will avoid all Nokia products from now on. The Nokia brand is now dead to us both!

I'm sorry to write a poor review since I was very excited to have a product for my Ipod shuffle. Sadly, the sound quality was so poor I had to return the product. When playing music I could barely hear the singer (tried with several different tracks at different volume levels) and couldn't even discern individual words when listening to an audio book. I'm using a first generation Ipod shuffle so I can't say if this product would work better with other MP3 players. It's gotten good reviews elsewhere so perhaps I got a 'dud' but don't plan on gambling on it again.
