This is the second time I've purchased several packages of these "Cara" cotton gloves. There is nothing wrong with these gloves! I know they are 100% cotton, so I order a larger size. They go right into the washing machine with my other bleached whites. I DO NOT put them in the dryer! I stretch them back to shape and lay flat on top of dryer until they're dry. For the price I think they are a good value. For years I was ordering from "Allerderm" which has better quality gloves but at least double the price. Those also had to be re-shaped and not dried in dryer or they would shrink too. Recently, I was trying to be cheap and order another type of cotton gloves--that I am now throwing in the trash. They were so thin, my fingers went through them after a few uses. Then I washed them and they literally fell apart at the seams. So, I'm back to order my "Cara" brand gloves because I know what I am getting. They would probably last longer if hand washed, but I don't have the time for that. THE KEY IS: ORDER LARGE, RE-SHAPE & STRETCH OUT WHILE WET, LAY FLAT TO DRY.

Nice. They fit well and feel good on my large male hands. As others have said, they are good for covering your hands when medication is applied. I use one pair for that, and a second pair for handling delicate items -- coins, antiques, rare books -- that might be soiled by any residue on the hands (lotions, sweat).
I've tried cheaper, thinner gloves and have been disappointed. These feel as right as an inexpensive glove can. True, there is no right or left - Any glove fits either hand. But the fabric feels thicker, and the cut seems to be closer to the proper proportions of a hand. They also survive a wash in the machine very well.

I agree with "shrinkers". The gloves shrunk so much they don't even stay on my hands overnight. I am researching to find a better brand. I had a pair that fit perfectly and kept the size and shape, but misplaced them when I went on a trip. I have not been able to find any like them. I will not buy this product again.

I have a fairly standard Men's Large hand and these are too small for me. And I'm cautious about ordering another, larger pair because the palm-span, the area between the thumb and palm, is quite small. When I "open" my hand fully, the glove slides up from my wrist an inch or more. I'm not confident that ordering up to an XL will solve this problem.
