I have used several expensive tea tree and aloe dog shampoos and,for some reason, this is the only one I've found that really works. I don't know what the difference is. It is concentrated to a thick honey consistency and gets down through the fur better when diluted. MUCH cheaper when bought in the gallon jug although the shipping is a little steep but it IS heavy. I don't know why but the tea tree scent doesn't seem quite as over-powering as some I've used and disappears after a few hours.

Well I bathe my Golden Retriever twice a week because she has allergies and is a service dog. She comes with me wherever I go. Since moving to GA she has developed skin issues and the vet is sure it is environmental. Never had issues in Montana. This soothes sara's skin and she loves it. Smells fresh and has helped with the allergies. I will buy again.

I now just lots of shampoo. Who cares if you waste some dog shampoo when you have enough concentrate to make 30 gallons of shampoo. It is really thick. I use the small bottle to do refills. This was a great buy. The only bad thing is it came about 3/4ths full. I did not really mind though. It is still more shampoo than I can ever use. I even gave some to some friends. I am guessing this stuf is more for a dog grooming place. Money well spent.

this is the best dog shampoo ever! i buy this big tub and refill my smaller bottle for easy usage. my dogs hair and skin look and feel super shiny and healthy after baths. the oatmeal is soothing and protects their skin oils, so dandruff is never a problem.

Excellent product. I now have my German Shepherds 100% grain free after using the last of a very large jug of Oatmeal Shampoo. After doing much research, the tea tree and aloe shampoos were the highest rated and most used among most pet owners who have their dogs on a RAW or holistic, organic and grain free diets as I do. This shampoo smells great and with apple cider vinegar and coconut oil mixed in their food, my dogs smell really nice for a good couple of months longer than without all these products. I know they are healthier, their coats look great and their breath is fresher, just by changing a few products and added a few others - and at a very small cost!

I know I've heard the lather is for the people... well... a teaspoon makes great lather which helps me know where I've washed and where I still need to scrub! I have been using Buddy Wash for years and I like it but this Earthbath is a nice change. It's clear and makes me fee like it's more pure. It smells like Tea Tree oil which is a bit like Eucalyptus and the dogs smell clean/fresh and their fur feels clean and soft. It rinses off easily. I have 2 australian cattle dog mixes... I used to use a standard dog soap sold in supermarkets but my one dog always seemed to scratch so I switched to Buddy Wash and that worked much better and now the Earthbath and this is great too! My dogs don't itch at all.

Warning: we originally ordered this twice (1-gallon size), but both times we had problems with shipping/packaging. The first time, UPS didn't even deliver the package saying it was returned to seller due to damage. The second time we received the bottle, but like many other reviews, the lid was loose, the security seal was broken, and it was leaking.

Otherwise, this is a great shampoo. The scent isn't very strong, but it's pleasant, and it lathers well and rinses clean relatively quickly. One of our dogs also had a sensitive spot above her tail that she would always itch like mad, but that has virtually stopped after we started her on this shampoo. With two large dogs that frequent the beach, I would definitely try to order this again, but I really hope they update the packaging method before then.

Since the bottle arrived unsealed, opened and only half full from Fat Happy Pets (http://smile.amazon.com/gp/aag/main?ie=UTF8&asin=&isAmazonFulfilled=1&isCBA=&marketplaceID=ATVPDKIKX0DER&orderID=113-5130617-3534665&seller=A2YKHLMXRLPQLV) I can't rate its use yet, as I have to await a refund and replacement.

Hopefully someone else will actually get me the full product at the better price still.

But the little bit I felt on my fingers when washing up smelled great! Will update the review once I get a real bottle.
