Directions

Submerge Chia Planter in water for 24 hours. In a separate container, mix two teaspoons of Chia Seeds and 1/4 cup of water. Stir well to moisten all seeds. The seeds will form a thick, gel-like paste which will help seeds adhere to your Chia Planter.Allow seeds to set for 24 hours.

Bought this for my wife. She admitted to always wanting a Chia Pet. Her birthday present was warmly welcomed and we both got a bit of a surprise.
I ordered the Chia Kitten and that is exactly what the sealed box said, but waiting inside was an animal with long ears and a ball tail... Yes, lurking inside the Kitten box was, in fact, a Chia Bunny.
Neither of us are upset, mostly it is a little comical. I just say this to warn the random people who may read this before ordering. You may have to wait just a little longer if you have your heart set on a kitten since you may have to return the sneaky bunny hiding inside.

We've followed the instructions perfectly and re-planed our Chia Pet with seeds several times. It has never grown to look anything like the box. Lots of seeds don't sprout so I am left with a cat Chia Pet that looks like he has mange.

The chia pet seed packet had a huge whole in it! When I got the package you could hear them moving around in the box. When I opened the box the seeds were scattered everywhere! I tried to gather as many as I could to put in a ziplock and put back inbox.

I bought it for my little boy, he followed the instructions exactly under my supervision, but it didn't sprout, not even a single seed. I must have received ancient seeds in the kit. We will give it another try but with fresh seeds from a local store. I like the kitty but I am somewhat annoyed by the fact that I didn't get what I paid for.
