Worked as described, I used it to remove a flywheel on a Honda Rebel. Did not damage the crank threads, and to help prevent threads from being damaged you tighten this bolt and whiel it is stressed, you hit the head of this bolt with a metal hammer to transfer the shock through the flywheel and crank surface and the flywheel will pop off with less pressure on the crankshaft.

I needed to replace the alternator in my 83 CB650 and I tried using a work around to get the rotor off, but nothing worked. Bought the proper tool (shocking I know) and it worked wonderfully.

To use it:
Hand tighten the puller into the rotor (don't want to cross thread)
Once it is hand tightened, take your wrench/ratchet and tighten it a little bit
Take a hammer and hit the puller a few times
Rotor should pop right off

For the majority of my life I've been a drunk, depressed street urchin who had an unhealthy obsession with velociraptors. But then one day while watching Joel Osteen on the tele I had an "ah-ha!" moment which made me turn my life around for the good of the Lord. I quite drinking and sold all of my velociraptor fossils on the Ebay.
