Directions for cooking: Bring 4 to 6 quarts of slightly salted water to a rapid boil. Pour in the quantity of pasta needed, stirring gently until the water boils again. Cook to desired tenderness, stirring occasionally. Drain immediately in colander and place on platter. Season to taste.

For many years, I never bought pasta. I made my own. It's a laborious process, but I like to cook anyway, and the difference in taste was amazing. Or at least that was true of the brands that were available to me when I started making my own. A few years ago, I discovered this product and the Colavita fettuccini nests, and I haven't made pasta since then aside from manicotti. It's that good. I don't know what the previous reviewer's problem was, but I suspect faulty preparation (overcooking). Certainly I've never had better pasta, and I'm picky.
