Consider this: Spices are oftentimes the dried leaves of plants--- if those plants are sprayed with any chemicals during the growing process, it's likely that these chemicals are still on the leaves when they are harvest, dried, and bottled. No thank you-- I'll always choose Organic for my family. Simply Organic is a great brand and I've never had a complaint on freshness, taste, or packaging. Excellent item. Worth the price!

I love Simply Organic products - literally the perfect blend of excellent packaging and very aromatic and tasty herbs and spices. I keep all mine in a drawer to keep them out of the light, and I love that their caps are light green and have the herb/spice name on the top. And, because they are light green, I can reuse old jars and just use a permanent marker to indicate what is in it now. So, great products and packaging that encourage recycling... win-win for everyone!

I recently used up and disposed of the last of my old spices. I started with a clean slate and I ordered all Simply Organic replacements. Not a cheap do over but one that was well worth it. The flavor of these spices is amazing. So fresh and bursting with nuances that I wonder how I ever managed without them before! I am delighted and they are all organic to boot! Can't go wrong with these, they are well worth the purchase. I am extremely happy!

(I will be duplicating this review on the other spices I bought, I can't say enough good things about using them but at the point of number 12 or 14 I would simply be repeating myself anyways! Use and enjoy these! They are amazing!)

I love Italianing seasonings. It includes organic oregano, marjoram, thyme, rosemary, basil, and sage. I cannot have salt due to medical reasons, so I like to season my food with herbs and other seasonings. This is a wonderfully combination. Basil can be strong on its own, as can be oregano, but when combined in this packaging, its not overpowering. The mix is made just right. I use this on everything from roasting cornish hens to preparing pork shoulder with crackling. This flavors without overpowering.

This is less expensive than the usual brands at the grocery store and I do like Italian seasoning in so many things. It adds a very nice, mild flavor, and fits in my spice rack nicely. As a rule I actually prefer to avoid "organic" foods - the pesticides used are no better for you than non "organic" and having talked to a former crop duster who used to treat only "organic" vegetable fields and learning what is used on them I don't really feel good about them.
