I was thrilled when I opened this package seeing that it was taken care of and properly packed. Upon opening it I could tell that the plastic was hard and not flimsy. I need this. being a DAA student I'm constantly using pens, pencils, erasers, etc. So I need something that will last after extensive Unfortunately all but two of my utensils failed to fit. My 9B fits perfectly, but that's a shorter pencil, and my mechanical pencils fit. But none of my sketching or #2 fit. Also 2 of my dividers fit incorrectly. They seem to require a lot of force and when I put them in they bend the sides of the box. The other 4 slide in and out with ease. Overall it's a very good box, but as for product description and what they are capable of storing,they could further themselves by giving me more information about the product as I have for you. < - run on sentence.

This is my favorite ArtBin for storing and organizing pens. I have a number of them, and use them to store pens and markers that don't have their own cases. I have one dedicated just to Gelly Rolls, and each section has room for all my colors of each type. (Excluding the ones that outline in gold and silver, as those are not useful to me.) Others hold smaller quantities of other brands of pens. Off the top of my head, the only things that don't fit are my Staedtler silver and gold triplus gel pens, which are so difficult to find that I'd be surprised if many others have them. Pencils that haven't been sharpened a number of times will not fit. I'm pretty sure Tombows don't fit, either, but don't quote me on that.

If you have just a handful of Copics, Spectrum Noirs, or Prismacolors, they will fit in nicely. (If you have more than 15 or 20, I'd recommend the ArtBin marker storage bins.) Also fits well: all other gel pens I've come across, Windsor & Newton watercolor pens, Wink of Stellas and Wink of Lunas (both pen and brush forms), Bic and Sharpie markers, Pigma Microns, and Faber Castell pens and markers. Most water brushes fit nicely, too, but paint brushes in general are hit or miss. I know there are so many other brands of pens and are supplies, but those are the major ones I can think of.

The clasps on these boxes are great. I travel with all my pens almost every day, and I've never had a case accidentally come open. The plastic is good quality - not too flexible, but has enough give that they don't crack even when dropped or accidentally placed at the bottom of a heavy pile. Overall, I can't recommend these enough to anyone who has more than a few pens or markers for arts and crafts.

Bummed because my sketching/charcoal pencils don't fit and that's my primary reason for the box. It's a good quality and does fit my erasers, stumps and other accessories. Good for small accessories but avoid if you are looking for a box for sketching/ charcoal or colored pencils.

I have 6 of these. I hace Copics, Touch, Spectrum Noir, Pilot G-2, Sakura Gelly Rolls, Sakura Pigma MIcrons, Letraset Promarkers and Aquamarkers, Painters, Sharpies and other pens similar in size. The inside of each slot is 6 3/16 in by 1 5/8 in and 1 1/2 in deep. The slots will hold 12-13 Gelly Rolls or 8 Copics. The dividers can go anywhere within the slots... there's no predetermined spot you must place them like in other boxes.
