Bought this to remove the yellow/brown river stains on the bottom of the boat. Put about 2 inches in the bottom of a bucket and applied with a car wash brush. The stains literally came off after a single swipe with the brush, product worked great. Use caution as the other reviews say; wear old clothes and some rubber gloves, this stuff will burn you. I also noticed that it dissolved some of the marine sealant I had around the Smart Tabs and other items screwed into the transom, so really rinse those heavily when you are done.

I used it on my boat after it have been docked at the lake for the summer. At first when I removed the boat I thought that it will take me forever to clean the junk off the hull. To save time I purchase few items advertised for hull cleaning, Star brite E-Z On E-Z Off was one of them. To save time I put it in a sprayer and sprayed on the hull. I have 20 ft boat and I used less than .5 gallons. It worked very fast, dissolved junk instantaneously.
I would recommend to wear a breathing mask, it is not very good to breathe in. It is an acid, use a lot of water to wash it off.

Easy enough! Follow the directions, protect yourself (gloves, etc) and use this! Our boat hull was discolored from a season of exploring (even though we dry store it) thanks to industrial mess/tannins. This worked great and we will certainly use it again. It made short work of the discoloration and our boat is shiny again!

I bought a boat with some stains on the deck and I tried a couple products, clorex, they didn't come up at
all.
Well I poured a little of this in a bucket and brushed it on. WOW the stain went away...exactly what I was looking for.
Rust stains on the rear of the boat washed right off also. I love this stuff.
Warning pretty strong stuff....it was gagging me like muratic acid...and the little bit that got splashed on my arm burned.
But it worked great. Boat hull had stains from water in local creek the hull cleaned up great too.

If you are looking for a fool proof product that does what it claims to then look no further. Easy to use and effective, just follow the instructions. I used a gallon for a 24 foot boat. The only caution is when you apply it, wear old clothes, because if any inadvertently splashes on you it will ruin what you are wearing. Wear rubber gloves. I used a brush with an extension to apply it, I had to go back over a couple spots, but refreshingly it does what the manufacturer claims it does. Buy it!

The boat I purchased had been in a wet slip for 4 months and had a brown bottom. Someone at the marina recommended Hull cleaner so off to Amazon I went and ordered this EZ-ON / EZ-OFF to give a try. I used a cheap bottle sprayer to get it on the bottom of the boat, let it sit for about two minutes and then used the power washer to spray it off. A few spots did take multiple times but I am really impressed with the outcome. I did cover my trailer to keep the chemical from spotting it. Oh, and I only used maybe 1/6 of the bottle to clean my 18' boat.

I meant to take before and after pictures but forgot my phone inside and once I started it was too much inconvenience to stop. Next time I clean it I'll try to capture the difference on camera.

I wore safety glasses but next time I will wear a mask as well as it wasn't pleasant to breath this stuff in. I did my best to hold my breath and cover my mouth and nose with my shirt. Also I will be sure to pickup one of those larger wand sprayers (for bug spray). Do yourself a favor and order these items along with the chemical if you don't already have them.

I've used this stuff for years. I used to get it in the spray bottle at the boat store for the same price as a gallon here on amazon so the coast is a no brainer. It seems like this may be more concentrated. My boat is 13 years old and spent much of its life in brackish water which leaves a water line stain every time. Simple to use. ....I just spray it on and you can watch the stain go away, with a simple soft brush you can finish it off. Be careful of the fumes and it does sing a bit if you get it on the skin but it's not like an acid. Also don't keep it in a spray bottle unless it's one of those that is made for harsh chemicals, otherwise it will destroy the spray mechanism.

I know that it was an acid when I bought it, bought it knowing that, but when I opened it I realized by the smell, and a drop got on my skin, that this was something that I did not want to get on my new boat trailer. I did not return it , I can use it to clean the driveway, or other uses around the house....Drain cleaner ect. I'm sure it will work on the hull of a boat, but I gave it a 3 because I did not use it
