I was pleasantly surprised with this oil. It has a rich flavor. I found the spout to be easy to use; I simply place my finger over the hole and leave a small space for dripping tiny bits of oil onto the food. This oil is for flavor, it is not a cooking oil, so it is sprinkled rather than poured. Because it is the first truffle oil I have tasted, I don't know how it compares to the more expensive products. I like the way it tastes and perhaps if I develop a real snobbery for truffle oil, I will spend more. But for my current status as a newbie to using such oil, this product fits the bill perfectly.

I agree with another reviewer. It tastes no different than a regular olive oil. I wonder if they have mislabelled the package. I buy truffle oils on a regular basis. All I taste is Olives in this.

This is probably the worst purchase I've ever made! It tastes like regular olive oil. I tasted it and then the Roland black truffle oil, and the Roland was far superior! Don't waste your money on this oil!!!!!!!
