My students love these. The plates are thin plastic and a little flimsy, but hopefully they will last a few years. I tape a piece of paper over them and make K-1st graders guess what's underneath as they rub.

Overall,I was happy with the prompt delivery of the rubbing plates. They were in excellent condition but not exactly what I expected. I was thinking the product would be various colored plates as in the picture. The rubbing plates were actually clear. Not a big deal, just not what I was expecting. Pleasantly surprised to receive the rubbing plates in EXCELLENT condition. I am also happy about the price I paid for the pack of rubbing plates.
