Defective unit from the start---I waited too long to try and install it and missed the return window by a week.

UPDATE: Did some continuity checking, and it turns out that this power supply fried my 5 cameras. The only saving grace is that I had not wired in my 6th camera at the time I hooked it up.

Good quality product, auto fuse reset on turning off/on. 4 stars because might not have enough power output for 8 IR-illuminated cameras (as I have), needed to cycle the unit a couple of times initially to get all IR's to activate. In general, pretty good, will use again and recommend to others.

The thing works as described, I installed it with an 8 camera system with no issues. but if you look at the design it's kinda stupid.

The door locks, but the power cable can be easily disconnected from the outside.

There's a circuit board inside to screw all the power runs to the cameras, and each one has an LED light and some other junk that suggest they are separate channels. reality is. there is o fuse to separate the channels, so if one is on, they are all on. basically its just 10 green lights drawing power inside a closed box. sweet.

The power supply works great, but the issue I had was with the locations for the access holes for the cables. With the access holes on the top, it makes the installation a bit less tidy that I would like. Also the pig tails came up a bit short to reach some of the Siamese cables that went to the cameras and the DVR. It would have been much better if the holes were on the bottom. It would be really nice also if there was a power switch.

As a professional CCTV Installer, this power panel works GREAT! The only drawback is that the terminals to connect the + and - ends are a bit tricky to get mounted versus a screw plate. aside from that, this power panel works exactly as described.
