I have had this phone for about 2 months. Works well! Seems that frequently I discover features that I am unaware of. Just discovered that it has an FM tuner.

As for the web applications, they can be pretty pricey. Took 40 cents to just check the weather. May have been location, but I know its there should I need to check it.

If you are a constant phone user, this may not be the phone for you. I use the phone on a limited basis. To check in at home and for emergency use. A very good phone for the casual user.

After going for 3 years without carrying a cell phone, the wife finally put the hammer down and said I was getting one. With 3 little kids and a schedule that just keeps getting busier, I can't say that I blamed her too much. We have a Verizon plan, but I really wanted to get an iPhone. After investigating, I just couldn't swallow the $70/month that AT&T is asking for the iPhone voice/data plan. The thought of a prepaid phone never really entered my mind until on a fluke I decided to look into it.

This Net10 phone fits my needs nicely. The phone is actually pretty nice. The camera is decent for a cell phone, voice quality is excellent, and it will hold a charge for at least a week (as long as you aren't talking on it constantly). The only thing this phone is missing is a display on the outside for caller id, etc...

The Net10 service is very good too. Activation was quick & easy. I even got 300 minutes over 2 months just for activating it. I get full bars in the places it counts (home & work).

Bottom line: If you don't talk on the phone more than 150 minutes a month, Net10 is great. However, it wouldn't work for someone like my wife, who is on the phone at least 500 minutes a month. I'm very happy with this purchase and it will provide a good alternative up until if/when data plans for iPhone (or other smartphone) come down.
