I use acrylic sealers for paper and stamping crafts to seal ink or to protect the project from later smudges. The sealers work great for that. They're also great for sealing tumbled-marble tiles after stamping and coloring them. I switched to the Plaid brand from Krylon because of odor; the projects sprayed with Krylon continued to emit a strong odor even days/weeks later! The Plaid brand is much less bothersome, even during the spraying. That's why I'm re-ordering some right now.

I use this product to seal my frontals and closures. I have to say that i love this product! It was recommended to me by the hair company i use and i use it with every install! So for the purpose of hair uses, this is a good product. I have not used this product any other way.

I purchased this for protecting my gouache paintings and it is a great product. The finish is truly matte, and it lays out and flattens beautifully on the paintings. I shall purchase it again when my present supply runs out, and from the same supplier because the service was excellent.

Be aware that although the Plaid website claims that this product is waterproof, it is not. I went to four stores to find it based on the websites claims only to be disappointed. Customer service was rude and told me that they don't claim the product is waterproof, but I was able to send them the link to the page on their very own website that claims it is (In fact, it's the third word in the description!). They lost me as a customer with their rude and uniformed customer service.
