This is the perfect flute cleaing rod. Well made, has the loop at the need for the cleaing cloth, and will not crack or break if dropped on the floor. The price was also perfect, and it arrived in a couple of days.

I use this flute cleaning rod to (carefully) clean my wooden fife. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. As some other reviewer's have pointed out, extra care needs to be taken to make sure not to scratch up the musical instrument. I personally use strips from an old t-shirt as a cloth tucked around the end.

It is very usefull. The cleaning rod is good for any Gemeinhardt Flute. It is good for tuning and for cleaning the flute. I would recomend this to anyone for the great price!
