We have two Bindaboo gates. We recently adopted an adorable black Manx cat that had never been with other cats. Because we already had 4 cats (two of which defend turf), we had to separate the 4 from the new one. The Bindaboo gates were the best I could find, and we purchased 2 of them. One of the gates was not wide enough to cover the entrance to a hallway, so we got this extension. It did the trick! This Bindaboo gates are a very good product - well-made, sturdy and attractive. The fact that they are relatively tall, easy to open and swing closed by themselves made them a good buy. Incidentally, two of the 4 cats learned to jump over the gates, so we had to add some plastic-coated wire from a local hardware store to extend the height of the gates. Now we have the perfect barrier.

I got the gate and this extension for it and it is the best gate I've ever owned and hopefully the only gate I'll even need again! The only small issue was a little bit of the white coating chipped off where the bars were welded together at the bottom of the gate, but it isn't noticable and doesn't affect the functionality at all. Great product.

While I reviewed the gate itself, this is a good extension. The metal pegs which hold it in to the gate itself are good, fit will and are sturdy.

My only complaint is that there is not a wider size selection. My door size is just on the edge of usable for the main gate. but it is also slightly too narrow for using this extension.

Overall I think the extension is good and sturdy but price is a tad high.

Excellent gate with extremely high quality. The Extensions allow for fitting a large number of spaces. Unit is pre-engineered to pres outward by the spring of the metal so fits very tightly against the surfaces to the sides.
