The SoundDock Portable digital music system plays your iPod tunes with fullness and clarity unusual for a compact unit. An auxiliary input on the back of the system also lets you pump in audio from other portable players and sources.

Bose proprietary waveguide speaker technology and powerful neodymium speakers are two major reasons the SoundDock Portable system produces high quality audio from its slim profile. Bose digital signal processing circuitry also provides for more consistent, tonally balanced sound at low and high volume levels.

Easy portability
The system's rechargeable lithium-ion battery delivers more power and longer playing time than other types of rechargeable batteries. When an outlet's handy, just plug in the included power cord.

For protection during transit, the rotating dock disappears into the main unit, and a built-in handle makes the system easy to carry. The custom travel bag has a padded, adjustable shoulder strap, plus enough room for your iPod, headphones and accessories.

The Bose in-ear headphones included in this package are ideal for iPod listening while commuting, exercising or relaxing. The best investment I have ever made for my music! Dont fall for imitations or generics...NOTHING compares to the Bose brand! I purchased along with ear buds for my ipod...and I couldnt be happier! My friends all tease me because I tend to talk about my love for my Bose all toooo much! If you love and appreciate your music....this is the only way to honor it! I also recomend the extra hundred bucks for the portable feature...I am so glad I spent the extra money for the ability to charge the battery and be 'on the go'...I take my Bose everywhere! You wont be dissapointed.
