The best all weather work boot!

Purchased these for my husband who is a hydro-excavator. We works in all weather conditions, from 27-110 degrees. This work boot retailed at $150 at all of the retailers in our area, and none of them carried a mens size 15. I couldn't believe the great low price offered on Amazon, plus having a size 15! Not to mention, the convenience of having them shipped to my front door! Husband is happy! They keep his feet cool in the hot weather and dry & cozy in the wet winter. He also says that they are super comfortable, being that he is standing on his feet for 10-12 hrs a day!

Good for many tasks

Good boot for cool weather chores. Not enough insulation for winter wear. A bit hot for summer chores. Comfortable footbed. The top of the boot chafes your calf if you walk a while in them. I always use knee high socks with them or they rub too much. Your feet stay dry. The sole does not grip hard slippery surfaces like concrete well which is a problem since I am almost always using them around water. Terrible on ice without cleats. Huge step up from cheap rubber chore boots except those do grip the ground better.

Always a great product!

We have horses and a farm and both of us will only buy the Original Muck Boot boot for our chores. Some have different "warm" levels but all protect perfectly against anything wet at all!!! Great grip on the bottom too mean we won't fall! Will never buy another brand unless they change for some reason!

Awesome Boots!

I purchased these for my wife for Christmas. She works with our animals in the barn up here in Maine and her feet were freezing. These boots keep her feet warm and dry no matter the weather. My daughter keeps stealing them from her, so I see another pair in the near future! I would recommend these boots to anyone. Great traction too!

Love the boots - Hate that they leak after 2 years

MuckMaster Muck Mid Boots are the "go to" boots for people in New England who do outside chores in cold, inclement weather. Their feel, comfort, warmth and ease of use are big pluses. However, there is a big negative with them that seems to have occurred within the last five years or so -- they don't last beyond approximately two years!!

Their issue? They separate at the seam of the upper and lower boot, initially a slight separation, that grows until the boots are no longer water-resistant, essentially making them useless for our weather.

In frustration, I have recently contacted the company to ask for their help, but I have not heard back from them.

So unless their manufacturing or materials methods change, I would only recommend these if you need them intact only for a year or so --- or if you live in a cold, DRY environment.

First pair MuckBoots

Checked lots of reviews before ordering. Boots got here quickly. Put them on while wearing a medium weight pair of wool socks.
Fit is a bit large with the heel fit loose. I figure if I go one size down the boot will be too small. Seems to me that most shoes/boots nowadays have heel fit that is a bit loose. Perhaps it's my feet, yet I've gotten fine fitting shoe/boots before.
The boot has great tread with waterproof being as advertised. Only time will tell how they will hold up to stomping around the woods of northern NH. I also plan on wearing these boots while working outdoors (stacking wood, yard work general clean-up).
I'll be keeping them for the time being.
Price was right at 83$.

Well Made

So I just got these, and this review doesn't comment on it's durability. Here's my first impression on this boot: It is very well made. The Neoprene feels like silk against my feet/calves. The rubber is not like the cheap rubber in the $25 boots. They feel ruggedized for lack of a better word. You can't flip flop them like rubber. It's very stiff where it needs to be and also gives where it should. I have a pair of timberland full leather and I don't feel as secure in them as I do wearing these. These boots also have some sort of stabilizer within the soles because they don't flop (like my Timberlands) when you climb a ladder, which is a huge plus. They are super comfortable and I feel like I can walk around in them all day. They are also very warm without being hot, so I'm sure I can wear these in the summer as well. My first impression: LOve Love them. Makes me feel like a generic superhero wearing them. I just hope they last. =D

Disappointed!

I have had these boots for about 2 years and they keep my feet warm and are easy to take on and off. I have used them lighly during mud season.
However the rubber around the boots are coming loose. On one it is on the toe area, 1.5 inches long and the other is along the side about a inch long. Pretty soon they might leak as the water and mud can now lodge in these areas and cause further separation.
The year warranty is not enough; should be 2 years i think. I would not recommend these boots.
