This is not gaffers tape. It is vinyl duct tape and will rip paint off of walls and finishes. Would not buy it ever again as gaffers tape. It sucks and was a waste of money. the real thing is cloth and this stuff stinks.

I don't usually leave reviews but with this purchase I just had too... I bought three rolls and was totally disappointed...If you have ever used real gaffers tape, this stuff is horrible. it would not even stick to carpet for 24hours...Did it leave residue? no. Did it keep cables secure and tidy? no... anyway you get my point.

This is not gaffers tape. It is glossy almost reflective and does not have the proper adhesive strength. For the same price, get TecNec gaff tape.

I have used Gaffers tape for years. I have tried many different brands, and this by far is the worse. It does not adhere very well for taping down cords, or any other purpose. With my experience with this product, I feel it is potential hazard even more that it is a nuisance. Don't buy this product if you are looking for quality stage tape.

Like another reviewer stated, this is not real gaff tape; it is more like some cheap imitation that is more akin to duck tape than gaff. The tape material feels more of plastic, not the cloth that it should be, and though the description says matte black, because it is plastic it still has a sheen to it. True gaff tape should be a black cloth material with no reflective qualities at all. And of course, this stuff doesn't feel very sticky. Do not buy!

The tape worked well. I love three inch wide for making it easy to capture the wire under the tape.

However, I ordered this product three times, and but the second order never arrived. For $26, I didn't bother complaining, so I'm not too angry about that.

Also, the picture shows three rolls of tape, but you only get 1. That quantity is never clearly stated in the description, so the picture could be interpreted to say the quantity is 3. It is not. I'm also not too angry about this.

Put together, though, I'm not impressed with this item. There are better sellers with better descriptions here on Amazon.
