This is an amazing clipper. You can tell the difference between a V5000 to this V9000 motor. Very strong, looks great, doesn't over heat as fast as other clippers, comes with 1/2, 1, 1-1/2, 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8 attachment, a guard attachment, a nice comb, a cleaning brush and clipper oil, and a box (which is cheap and fragile, but good for storing attachments). 5 stars!

These are the best deal in the Pro lineup:

They have the strong V9000 motor
They come with a good set of attachments. Yay!
They come with a case (albeit a cheap one)
Has the zero overlap adjustable blade
Works on all hair types

You can use the attachments from other full size clippers including the regular consumer brand type. They fit just fine.

Tip, you can adjust the blade by using the RED guard as a line up device..
Just loosen the blade screws (with the guard in place) and slide toward the guard and tighten up again. Might need a few tries but it works OK

I bought this product at least 5 years ago. I am a father of 3 boys and I wanted to try a "better" clipper to cut their hair with. I previously used a store bought Wahl that was adequate but I noticed the "pro" razor my barber was using had a different kind of humming sound. I found this razor and read it had a "V5000" motor that was more powerful that the consumer model. I have been using this product to cut my own hair (whatever is left of it!) and my kids have been cutting each others hair for years. This product is great and is very durable. It has a strong motor that makes the job a lot easier.

Be careful of using the bare blade to trim your neck. Make sure you move the black bar adjustment towards the middle, or you can cut yourself, as I have a few times. It is actually quite easy to cut your own hair once you get the hang of it!

I have been cutting hair for over 3 years and have used almost everything, This is BY FAR your best clipper for the price. I cut 15-25 heads a day and havent touched my other clippers much since I got this. The v9000 motor is amazing and allows you to cut fast with crisp cutting, unlike many wahl clippers. Compared to the Wahl seniors but half the proce and Andis masters but half the weight and price! A must have if your a serious cutter :)

These clippers are a great improvement over the power, frequency and overall performance of my cordless clippers, for which no vacuum adapter existed on the internet. So I searched for the nicest vacuum adapter I could find, then paired it with my purchase of this clipper upgrade. Since I've read this and that about comb sizes let me set the record straight. My WA8451 here came with the following number sizes of clipper combs: 8, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1+1/2, 1, 1/2, which are respectively 1", 3/4", 1/2", 3/8",1/4", 3/16", 1/8", 1/16", which are respectively 25, 19, 13, 10, 6, 4.5, 3, 1.5 mm. Plus a realistically sized black plastic carry case, comb, Wahl clipper oil, cleaning brush, and instructions.

The only complain I have about these hair clippers, is that they heat up quick. Every single hair cutting device is going to heat up one way or another, that's a fact. This pair heats up quick, that's the only reason why I rated it 4 stars. Other than that it's awesome to work with. it's got the 1/2 inch guard for the extra precision on the fades. Highly recommended. Buy with confidence.

So far the 5 Star Magic Clip Cippers are the best I've used. It has a nice Taper level quality. It's very easy to work with. Especially when comes to fading. This clipper does live up to it's name. Just becareful with the blade because it's super sharp. I cut myself a couple of times. All in all I recomend this product to anyone.

By far the best hair clippers I've ever purchased. I've owned a few basic home Wahl and Andis clippers in the past. I not only cut my two boys hair at home but my Basset hound/Blue Heeler dog. My previous criteria for selecting new clippers were how many guards were included and if scissors or combs were also included. For this purchase I thought id do a little research. A lot of the Wahl professional grade clippers are close to the same. Some have a plastic backing vs a metal to allegedly dissipate heat quicker. Thats the only difference. Some have a v5000 motor vs. a v9000. I knew this time around I wanted a powerful motor. I couldn't tell you how strong the cheap Wahl "home" clippers are. Since the motor info isn't listed under the home Wahl site, I imagine it's neither a 5000 or 9000. All I know is when cutting my dogs hair, it gets bogged down at times and sometimes stop. So this time a gambled and decided on professional grade. I couldn't decide on the 5 Star Senior or the 5 Star Magic Clip. I eventually went with the Magic Clip due to cutting military style haircuts for my boys. It comes with the V9000 for power and a 1/2, 1, and 1 1/2 guards for that perfect fade. I'm so happy with this clipper. It doesn't get hot to the touch when operating for a while and my fade cuts have no lines for where a blended in the hair with the different guards. Do yourself a favor spend the extra few bucks on the professional grade Wahl clippers. By professional I mean used by professional barbers and the professional line not the cheap Wahl clippers that have the word "Pro" thrown in the title.
