Salt mill matched the quality, performance & beauty if the pepper mill i previoiusly purchased from this same mfg. Nice to be able to still get quality products made in this country. Mill looks and works great. I tossed the salt that came with it and use himalayan dark pink salt.

Don not buy.
While this mill grinds salt well, the salt corrodes the inside structure. If the salt touches the metal inside, corrosion begins. I wish I had noticed this when I bought them.

does not provide a fine grind, only medium to larger grind despite a three position grind adjustment. after dispensing salt it will continue to leak salt crystals on the table surface. so it is good for lots of salt and salty mess. I have another model of Bounds which works better
