The material is sturdy enough, however the 'black' color I ordered was not black like it displays online. It was a grey/blue color.
This vendor did an awful job packing the poster board. Basically sandwiched the 25 sheets in between two pieces of thin cardboard.
During shipment the package took a beating and had been folder or creased over in the middle due to flimsy pack support. All the boards had creases through the middle. Hopefully they can address the issue.

The item is as described, my only problem was the condition it arrived in. It was folded in half and then stuffed into a box with other paper stuffed around it to "protect" it but that ended up folding the corners of it. So, it doesn't lay flat and it looks awful. We had to put books on top of it for a few days to straighten it out. Also, it came with a black smudge on it which shows up clear as day on the white paper. Next, time I will just stick to buying poster board at the local craft store.

I was concerned that the item shown was going to be both gold and silver on the same side but it turned out that the poster board is all gold on one side and all silver on the other. Just what I wanted! It is not really a shiny metalic but more of a subdued metalic. It was shipped in a thin cardboard box and none of the boards were damaged. Shipped by the date indicated and a great price compared to some of the craft stores that stock the same posterboard
