Sounds silly to have joy over a laundry basket. But this basket has been an absolute delight to work with! It makes carrying laundry easy and it has a billion other uses as well.

I have limited mobility and need to gather the clothes then toss the bag down the stairs to our laundry room. This basket has held up to all of my abuse. It is a household essential.

I have three of these baskets and they are FANTASTIC!!! I love them for a few reasons: 1.) they collapse to fit easily between our washer and dryer; 2.) because they are so lightweight, they making carrying a load of folded clothes a breeze; and, lastly, stumble against these, they collapse. Awesome!!! These would make a great gift for ANYONE who has limited storage space.

I have 2 of these baskets, and have used them regularly over at least the last five years. These baskets hold more laundry than I can fit in my super capacity washer, still show very little signs of wear after 5 years, have stood up to being tossed down steps while being filled with laundry, and can be stored out of the way when not in use. I also use my baskets for carrying toys and other items upstairs that my daughters have scattered all over the living room floor. These baskets have spoiled me, and I wouldn't own any other type.

Purchased from Amazon. Great big size for me, can fit more in here than in my washine machine (I don't dare try to force it). I lug it around by the handles, and since it's all bendy it just bends along with the weight. Not a problem. Vinyl or such bottom, mesh sides.

I have owned several of these and always have an extra for friends in need of one. They are wonderful, light and compact to slip into a small space (I have mine hanging in the closet.

The idea of a folding laundry basket is genius. I bought a couple folding baskets 5-6 years ago and my biggest regret is that I didn't buy more because now all there is are these poor imitations.

The old design had a plastic frame that was very forgiving of heavy loads. The new design is metal and the first time a carry a load of wet clothes to the clothes line the baskets are permanently deformed. When the manufacturer changed to wire frames, they were still a little sturdy--it took a year or so of heavy loads before the wires got so bent out of shape that they were unusable. Now it only takes 3-4 uses and the baskets are so warped they will not fold correctly nor stand upright.

The old design had a pocket frame (I don't know how else to describe it) that allows you to remove the wires and wash the mesh fabric, so the basket always looks new. The new design has no way to remove the wires, so you're stuck with dirty baskets.

It's a great design idea; I still prefer these to plastic baskets. But these are disposable baskets, something you'll only use a year or two before tossing them out. Too bad the price hasn't lowered to reflect the cheaper quality and poorer design.

I copied another reviewer and bought one of these baskets for every member of the family. They are quite large and hold a lot of laundry. They have handles to make carrying easier, and they can either be folded flat or twisted into an even smaller round shape and secured with a stretchy band that is included, (I looped my stretchy bands around one of the handles of each of my baskets to make them easy to keep up with). I use these for my clean laundry and it is rewarding to be able to fold them up when the laundry is put away - rather than trying to find a place to store a bulky, hard plastic laundry basket. Also, if you are a messy person, you can use these to gather up things around the house and haul them to the room where they actually belong. Or pop them open and stuff your junk in them and hide them in the closet quickly before company arrives.... I mean, not that I personally would do something like that :-)
