My sister and I both got an Ergo after trying several other carriers including the Bjorn, Snugli and a sling. I absolutely love this carrier! You can carry your child in the front, on your hip or on your back. My daughter is now 14 months and we still use this carrier regularly, it has always been very comfortable for both of us.

My Ergo was stolen and I was bereft...I ended up splurging and buying a new one after just a few days without it. I carried my first son until he was well over two and am still regularly wearing my 15 month old. We live in Alaska, so it keeps him much warmer than any amount of blanketing in a car seat or snow suit, he stays calm and sweet during shopping trips, and generally loves being up with me and the other adults. Ergos are wonderful if you have bigger kids -- my sons were both near 10 lbs when born and stayed in the 95% percentile for height and weight. As a relatively small woman, this is the only baby carrier that was comfortable to wear for hours on end. I have twelve different styles of baby carrier, and this is above and beyond my favorite -- the rest are just poor substitutes. Well worth the $100+.

I had several other carriers and this is definately the best. I just wish I would have gotten it 3 kids ago. It took a couple of days of getting used to it but I love it now. My daughter is still only 8 weeks but I didn't buy the infant insert I just used a blanket and used the hood to keep her head secure. I highly recommend this product.
